Computerized eye check up

We provide Computerized Eye testing with accurate and is the best way to check for spectacle number

Phacoemulsification

Phacoemulsification cataract surgery is a procedure in which an ultrasonic device is used to break up and then remove a cloudy lens, or cataract, from the eye to improve vision. The insertion of an intraocular lens (IOL) usually immediately follows phacoemulsification.

Phacoemulsification is a modern cataract surgery in which the eye's internal lens is emulsified with an ultrasonic hand piece and aspirated from the eye. Aspirated fluids are replaced with irrigation of balanced salt solution, thus maintaining the anterior chamber, as well as cooling the hand piece.

In a phacoemulsification procedure, an incision is first made in the cornea, the outer covering of the eye (A). A phacoemulsification instrument uses ultrasonic waves to break up the cataract
(B). Pieces of the cataract are then suctioned out
(C). To repair the patient's vision, a lens is pushed through the same incision
(D) and opened in place.
LASIK

LASIK is a surgical procedure that uses a laser to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and/or astigmatism. In LASIK, a thin flap in the cornea is created using either a microkeratome blade or a fem to second laser. The surgeon folds back the flap, and then remove some corneal tissue underneath using an excimer laser

Benefits of LASIK eye surgery

Immediate results This is one of the most remarkable benefits offered by the LASIK eye surgery procedure. Patients undergoing laser eye surgery procedure have experienced drastic improvements in their vision with the simple procedure. After successful completion of LASIK vision correction procedure, patients can immediately discontinue wearing their contact lenses or glasses.

Following the laser vision correction surgery, patients can instantly get freedom from their contact lenses and glasses. The procedure is safe, quick and gets completed within 10-15 minutes. With LASIK vision correction, patients can enjoy the new, incredibly clear vision. They can also enjoy their life free from the daily hassles and expenses of contact lenses and glasses.

It works and is proven to correct vision in most cases.

LASIK laser eye surgery is associated with very little pain.

Vision is corrected almost immediately or by the day after LASIK laser eye surgery.

Recovery is quick and usually no bandages or stitches are required after LASIK laser eye surgery.

Adjustments can be made years after LASIK laser eye surgery to further correct vision.

After having LASIK laser eye surgery, most patients no longer need corrective eyewear.
SMILE

SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) is the very latest laser eye surgery techniques used to treat short-sightedness, with or without astigmatism.

This treatment is available in only a few laser eye surgery clinics worldwide. Patients get all the benefits of LASIK - rapid healing and very little discomfort - but now without having a corneal flap.

ReLEx® SMILE uses state-of-the-art femtosecond technology to create a high-precision Lenticule (thin circular disc of tissue) that is removed through a small incision in an intact cornea. It replaces the roughly 20 mm side cut of LASIK to a small incision of less than 4 mm.

This new technique, has fast visual recovery like LASIK, but has a number of advantages compared to LASIK for the correction of short sight and short sight combined with astigmatism.
Squint Surgery

Squint surgery is surgery on the extra ocular muscles to correct the misalignment of the eyes.
Strabismus surgery is both safe and effective in adults, despite widespread misconceptions to the contrary.

Benefits of Squint Surgery

The benefits of this surgery are aligned with the goals of surgery, and may vary from person to person. Alignment of the eyes may make amblyopia therapy less intense. Proper alignment may eliminate a range of symptoms such as double vision, eye strain or fatigue, and restore the normal relationships between the eyes themselves and other facial structures. Only the patient and his family, with the advice of their doctor can determine if these benefits warrant undergoing squint surgery.

  • improves ocular alignment
  • reduces or eliminates of diplopia
  • restores sensory binocular fusion
  • expandsbinocular visual field
  • improvement of an abnormal head position and
  • improves social skills and self-image

Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a vision problem related to a high level of pressure within the eyes. This intraocular pressure affects the optic nerve and leads to a severe diminution of the vision. Left untreated, glaucoma can actually result in total blindness. That's why it's imperative that you visit your doctor or our eye care center should you notice any changes in the quality of your vision. We can carefully examine your eyes and determine if you are at risk for glaucoma or are already in its early stages.

It is usually caused by or worsened by pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure, or IOP) that is too high for the continued health of the nerve. The only proven treatment of glaucoma is lowering of IOP in order to prevent or to slow down the damage to the optic nerve.
Oculoplasty

Oculoplasty, or oculoplastic surgery, includes a wide variety of surgical procedures that deal with the orbit (eye socket), eyelids, tear ducts, and the face. It also deals with the reconstruction of the eye and associated structures.

Oculoplastic surgery is performed on people of all ages for many different reasons.

Most oculoplastic surgeries can be performed on an outpatient basis, which means you go home the same day and recovery is fairly quick.

Oculoplastic surgery covers a wide range of procedures, including:

  • Eyelid surgery, including blepharoplasty and eyelid reconstruction, for ptosis, entropion, ectropion, and eyelid tumors
  • Tear duct surgery
  • Orbital surgery to manage thyroid and eye disorders, tumors, and trauma
  • Pediatric oculoplastic surgery to correct congenital defects and manage eye disorders in children
  • Eyebrow and forehead lifts
